Privacy

How we process visitor information and contact enquiries.

Updated 7 October 2026.

Who processes your information

The data controller is MEJD-IN d.o.o., based in Lekenik, Croatia. For privacy questions and to exercise your rights, email ivo@mejd-in.com or call +385 99 526 0869.

Contact enquiries and purposes

The form collects your first name, last name, company OIB (Croatian tax ID), email, enquiry and, if provided, phone number. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about it. We do not use them for newsletters or marketing messages. Do not include passwords, health information or other sensitive information in your enquiry.

Consent and contact options

Using the form is voluntary. By ticking the box above the send button, you consent to this communication under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The box is not preselected and the form cannot be submitted without confirmation. You can also contact us directly by email or phone. We receive the accepted consent wording, notice version and submission time with your enquiry as evidence of consent.

Sending and storing your enquiry

Our server sends your enquiry through Zoho Mail to ivo@mejd-in.com, where it is kept in our business mailbox. The web application does not store enquiry content in its own database, browser storage or normal application logs. We do not publish information from enquiries.

Retention

We keep contact enquiries and their consent records for up to 12 months after the communication has ended, then delete them from our business mailbox. If an enquiry leads to a contract or certain information must be retained by law, the relevant contractual and statutory retention rules apply to that information; we do not keep the entire enquiry unnecessarily.

Service providers

Contabo hosts the website, Zoho Mail delivers and stores email, and Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form against spam. Each provider processes information necessary for its service. Our Zoho account uses a European data centre. Providers may engage subprocessors and process data outside the EEA; their notices explain locations, roles and safeguards. You can request further information from us.

Spam protection and technical information

Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical signals, such as IP addresses and browser information, to distinguish people from automated requests. Our submission rate limit uses IP addresses in application memory over a 15-minute interval. The purpose is to prevent abuse and protect the website, based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Turnstile does not receive the content you enter in the form.

Cookies and tracking

The public website does not include analytics or marketing tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Technical storage and security features support website functionality and protection against abuse. Using them does not mean agreeing to advertising. If we introduce tools requiring consent, we will request it before activating them.

Withdrawing consent and your rights

You may withdraw communication consent at any time by emailing ivo@mejd-in.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Depending on the legal basis and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We normally respond to requests within one month.

Complaints and automated decisions

You may lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP). We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Automated form protection is used only to prevent spam.

Registration and documents

The client portal is not active yet. The website currently does not allow you to open an account or submit documents. We will update this notice before those features are activated.
